Published: September 18th, 2011 | Tags: Ben Roethlisberger, Charlie Batch, Pittsburgh Steelers, Week 2 injuries 2011UPDATE: Roethlisberger started the second half for the Steelers, so it appears he?s going to play through his injury. He?s still limping, but is moving around well in the pocket and on his drop-backs.

Roethlisberger left Sunday?s game against the Seahawks briefly during the second quarter with an apparent right leg injury after taking a low hit from Seahawks DE Raheem Brock. Backup Charlie Batch replaced Roethlisberger for a couple of plays, and Roethlisberger was clearly checking out his right knee on the sideline after limping off the field.

He returned after two plays to throw an incomplete pass on third-and-2 before Shaun Suisham connected on a 20-yard field goal to give the Steelers a 17-0 lead. With the game at halftime, we?ll see if Roethlisberger is back in the lineup to start the second half.
