Now come check out my neighborhood where the east/west streets don't see enough sunlight and turn into ice rinks for months on end because the city only plows streets with stripes. But on the other hand, at least I don't live in Lakewood. I'll take it!

There is no such thing as "All Season" tires. They are a compromise by design and play to the fiction for people who would rather by a marketing phrase over performance.

Snow Tires - particularly the high-void, high silicone content, multi-sipe tread cut works wonders and lets you stop, go, turn and control you car in a way that those on All Season tires think is either impossible or reckless.

Try 'em; you'll like 'em. And the life or damage you will save may be your own. And on behalf of those who you won't hit either - Thank You.

Same here. We butt up to Daniels park so are at 6K. We will get loads of snow while down on 470, they are getting rain. Always better to have snow to soak into the ground, than rain that runs to kansas and texas.
