MTV News recently handpicked 50 of 2011?s Top TV Characters and writer-turned-detective Rick Castle clocked in at an admirable 41, alongside other fan faves like the Office?s Andy Bernard and Real Housewives of Atlanta?s NeNe Leakes (who, despite being a real person, still made the cut ? and rightfully so.)
We know why we love Mr. Castle (adorkable obsession with sci-fi, boyish good looks, really great hair), but why did MTV?s editors select the quirky novelist? Easy.
