The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Projections Project features geometric patterns which emphasize the mosque's form as well as luminescent vines which wind and blossom in 3D on the mosque's walls. They used 44 projectors and the result is nothing short of magical. Seriously, watch it, now.

46 minutes ago(10:36 AM) It is more important to feed the hungry and cloth the needy than to beutify the places of worship. God will judge us based on how we treat the God's creation not how best we adorn and beutify the Mosques.

Millions spent on this display could have been put to better use to feed the hungry in Africa, South Asia or right there in Middle East.

28 minutes ago(10:55 AM) That's true, but why is this only limited to mosques? Have you not seen the churches, synagogues and temples around the world?

2 hours ago( 8:56 AM) Absolutely wonderful, and this is from a Buddhist. That a human being can create such beauty, any wonder why God can be so limited by same?

3 hours ago( 7:55 AM) My brother works for Obscura and worked on this project among many others. Check out their other works via the link in the article. I don't understand the technology to do this 3D mapping even after he tries to explain it to me, but the results are amazing!

49 minutes ago(10:34 AM) They probably will but will attach some alarmist headline to it..."is this a signal to sleeper cells?...We at Fox can't say yes...but some would say it is...BE AFRAID"
