But well, In 2011, the tremendous day has come where Nuffnang awards were once again presented to the winners and it was held with a big bang at Marriot Hotel, Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur.
Time flies so fast as I could still remember the previous blog awards which happened 2 years ago. Memories that were cherished there will always be remembered.
Nuffnang has spread over many countries and many bloggers from the various countries came over to witness the awesome Asia Pacific Blog Awards! Various categories for the awards were listed out and the nominees had been voted for by the public.
The day started off with Jolyn and I heading over to Marriott Putrajaya at 4pm as Jolyn won the hairdo makeover. It took about 30 minutes to do up her hair and well, it was beautiful but still lacked in hair volume.
The day was still young as The reception was only to start at 6pm. Jolyn and I chilled at the lounge where we had great illy coffee and a tiramisu cake.
As time started to fly, bloggers started pouring into the hotel where there was a cocktail reception in front of the grand ballroom. As usual, We mingled around getting to know new faces, seeing old familiar faces and having tonnes of photos taken!
Finally at about 7.30, the doors opened and the registration began! Everyone went in, queueing up to register, to write their names on the boards and of course to take a nice picture with the backdrop. (of course, more camwhore moments to be displayed)
at about 8.15pm, The grand ballroom doors were open and we were able to get inside the ballroom to see what awaited us. The setup was beautiful and we started going to our designated tables. The event started with A welcoming note and there were performances lined up for us!
as for the rest of the night, it just went on with a few more photo taking sessions, and most of the attendees headed off to Zouk Kuala Lumpur for the after party.
All I can say is, Thank you Nuffnang for the awesome Blog Awards! Memories are to be cherished and I can't wait for the next Nuffnang Awards to come!
