Lauren Scruggs has tweeted photos of herself on vacation, just two months after she lost a hand (and later an eye) in a plane propeller accident.
The new pictures of Scruggs show the model and fashion blogger at a ski resort in Colorado. One features Lauren and her twin sister Brittany, with both girls wearing sunglasses and pouting. The other is a group photo of Scruggs and friends watching a ski jumping display. The 23-year-old looks healthy after her recent ordeal, and she tweeted her joy to followers:
Scruggs, 23, was nearly killed on December 3 when she accidentally walked into a moving plane propeller. Her and a friend had been to see the Dallas Christmas lights from the sky. Initially she lost her left arm, but doctors decided two weeks later that Lauren?s left eye also had to be removed.
?I don?t know how to thank each one of you, properly, for so much love during this difficult incident in my life. My heart is so grateful beyond what I could ever imagine.?
