Aldridge was able to walk off the court with a limp, but he has not returned since landing on the foot of Wizards forward Trevor Booker 1:55 into the game.

View full size(Bruce Ely/The Oregonian)LaMarcus Aldridge (12) returns to the locker room after rolling his ankle at the Rose Garden on Tuesday night.

Trail Blazers All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge suffered a left ankle injury Tuesday when he landed on the foot of Trevor Booker less than two minutes into the game at the Rose Garden.

Aldridge was coming down after he had made a perimeter jumper when his foot landed, and then rolled, on the foot of Booker. Aldridge screamed in pain and put his hand over his face, until action was stopped. He was able to walk to the locker room and has yet to return to the court.

He was replaced with guard Wesley Matthews, who earlier in the day lost his starting spot to Nicolas Batum. Since then, the Blazers have used Kurt Thomas.

This is why we need to get a younger center to start. We should trade for Nash and Gortat. That would change this team around. We need to have a center in the game when it's the 4th quarter and its a close game.

Blazers need to make a decision on who are they going to keep between Wallace and Batum, or decide to trade Mathews or crawford and put Batum in the starting SG spot.

Ankle injuries happen in the game of basketball...to ALL teams. The Blazers play in a 'fishbowl', so some fans think injuries only happen to Blazers.

I was at the Rose Garden this evening and Wallace stepped up nicely. Felton's numbers were not great but his game was much better. Jamal was not all there but still had a fairly good game.

I'll keep 'em all. Nate, I agree on that one. I've never liked Nate. Hiring his was such a Seattle uber geek move. And to think Rick Carlisle was available at the time.

This is unacceptable. The Blazers were fodder for the worst team in the league?????WTF Even with LMA down we should have been at least competitive. The players don't want to play for Nate anymore and that is a problem.

I have to agree with you about Rick Carlisle. IMO Rick Carlisle is the best coach in the game today even going back to the day when he got canned and that dumbass Larry Brown took his team to the championship. Notice how they faded after Brown took over. I'm still pissed they fired Adelman.

Here's something I really noticed. WHY GAME AFTER GAME AFTER GAME DOES THE OTHER TEAM PICK UP MOST OF THE MISSED SHOTS? I mean WHEN AT THE OTHER TEAMS BOARDS AND THE OTHER TEAM MISSES, WHY DOES THE OTHER TEAM MOST OF THE TIME IN EVER GAME GET MOST OF THE MISSED SHOTS RIGHT AWAY. Think about that Blazers and see if you notice the same things so it stops. Whole lot of missed points and possessions that way. That is all.

It is officially time to pull the fire alarms on this team. This just isn't working out. I have defended the coach and certain players over and over, but at this point, I think change for changes sake is warranted. Get a top level GM and clean house.
