Even as a KU fan, six wins seems like quite a stretch. Four is more likely. Five wins would be a great first year for Weis, under the circumstances.
Anyone thinking that K-State will be down this year is ignorant. Yes, they are losing O-Lineman, but they are also bringing in 2 JUCO All-Americans at O-Line. Plus, they will only need to hold their blocking for a short while, or until Collin Klein decides he wants to gain yards, because he really doesn't give a s***. Secondly, if you really think KU will make a bowl this year, you are insane. That requires them to win at LEAST 3 or 4 conference games, and in a 9 game schedule, against every other Big 12 team, I don't see that happening. Easy beakers, its a long way out of the cellar. Yes, you have Weis and a new QB...but you also have statistically one of the worst defenses in college football history. Have fun trying to outscore every other team...KU get 2 more wins than last year and wins a grand total of 4 games....I'm shaking...
As a Mizzou fan I wanna say good luck to our old Big 8 brethren. KU will need it. I do believe K State should have a strong season with a good bowl to go to. That being said I would think that that you would wanna see the Tigers make a above average showing in the SEC so as to bring more credibility to the discussion of why the Big 12 was a better conferance and Oklahoma State should have been in the BCS championship game. I'll miss playing the teams of the old big 8 but after taking the headquarters out of KC and moving it to Texas I believe that was the end of the best confrence known as the Big 8!! As a KU fan I say Thank you. K-State lost to much of their Offense to repeat as a big threat and KU has no where but up to go this year. Wies will bring respect back to KU by winning 6 or more games this year in the conference. I see a huge turn around in Jayhawk football this year.

Generated the worst Big 12 and probably college football seasons ever? Glad your one trick pony beat our team in a game they were supposed to destroy.......eeked it out.
