(AP) -- The developer of the Grand Canyon Skywalk is challenging a northern Arizona tribe's decision to take over management of the glass bridge.
The Hualapai Tribe has declared eminent domain over the management contract and says it will provide Las Vegas businessman David Jin $11 million in compensation.
The lawsuit alleges that the tribe's action violates Jin's constitutional, due process and just compensation rights. It also contends the tribe doesn't have civil jurisdiction over Jin.
Under an agreement, Jin was supposed to split Skywalk revenue with the tribe for 25 years in exchange for his investment to build it.
