Feb 12, 2012 - The Utah Jazz and Memphis Grizzlies showed up at the FedEx Forum on Sunday night, and out of pure coincidence, a basketball game broke out. The Grizz bench has been invisible thus far, while Marreese Speights is 0-6. Marc Gasol is having a solid game thus far, but he's about the lone bright spot for his team. Meanwhile, Gordon Hayward and Al Jefferson have 14 points apiece as Utah leads Memphis 46-40 at halftime.
Memphis was down double digits at one point, but did well to cut the lead to six points just before halftime. They're still shooting a poor 34 percent from the field, and it goes without saying that they're going to need to shoot the basketball better in the second half. They're winning the battle on the boards for the most part, but they've allowed Jefferson to get four offensive boards and create some second-chance points. Also, Hayward has 14 against Tony Allen. Go figure that out.
