Last month we got the first trailer for Jennifer Westfeldt's mature romantic comedy Friends with Kids which she wrote, directed and produced, not to mention having one of the lead roles alongside Adam Scott. Audiences will be happy to see most of the supporting cast of Bridesmaids, including Kirsten Wiig, Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph and Chris O'Dowd, show up for this comedy, and now we have a red band trailer that gives us just a taste of the adult laughs in store. Honestly, this doesn't really need to be a red band trailer, but it is because of all the sex talk. Otherwise, it's quite tame for an R-rated trailer. Watch!
Friends with Kids is directed, written and produced by Jennifer Westfeldt who also stars opposite Adam Scott in the story about two friends who decide they want the joy of having a child but without the red tape of getting married and being in love with one another. Skeptical friends come in the form of Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph and Chris O'Dowd (all from the comedy Bridesmaids) while things get complicated as each of the new parents pursue their own romantic exploits played by Edward Burns and Megan Fox. Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate bring the film to theaters on March 9th, 2012. Good?

I heard he uses the baby as a tiny human football and ends up drowning the girl because he gets post natal depression. Just to shake things up a bit.
The desire to RAISE a child and the selfishness of not wanting to raise it correctly are together an oxymoron. This plot is really scraping the bottom.
The concept behind this movie is horrible. It is so bad that I have never even thought of the idea in any remote part of my brain, nor has the topic been brought up in any conversation I have ever been in.
To add to the crap concept of this story, the movie plays on the notion that, hey, this is a new idea, but not really, and we all know you think it won't work, but lets have fun along the way.
Having said all that, writing this reply, the next trailer, Damsels in Distress, just played automatically. Thanks, Hulu, and it looks solid. Take the time and find the trailer for that.
do you REALLY think "damsels in distress" looks like a solid film? i think it looks ridiculous. the plot, actresses, dialogue seem awful to me. i wouldn't see it if i had free tickets.
as fars as this movie - i think the 4 actors are what makes it - they seem like a good ensemble and i think it'll be ok for a one-time watch.
