You?ll all have your own favourites. Mine I think however is the Marvel Comics adaptation of the new Amazing Spider-Man movie for June. Which has the honour of collecting the so-far-unsolicited Amazing Spider-Man:

In February of 2010, a video was uploaded to YouTube showing a heated verbal disagreement on a public bus spilling over into terrible violence. The de facto star of this clip was a sextagenarian with a memorable beard and a T-shirt proclaiming that he is a m*therf*cker.

Not exactly a hero, is he? But he caught on with the internet, was quickly dubbed Epic Beard Man and became a meme in a lightning flash. Even some of the derivative videos you can see littering YouTube have amassed millions of hits.

And perhaps we?re getting to the point of Craig Moss? new film Bad Ass which takes this video and turns it into a feature film, apparently some kind of action picture with one foot in grind house parody. Danny Trejo stars as the title character, easily recognisable as one of the key players in the original bus violence.

Craig Moss, the director, previously made The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It which I haven?t seen but, frankly, wasn?t well received. This seems like a detour out of Friedberg and Seltzer territory towards something a bit more like Postal-mode Uwe Boll.

This week, a number of the DC Universe books end with the maiming or killing or someone close to the main character ? by one of the main characters. I won?t tell you which, obviously. Why not collect them all? Captain Atom #4?

With the official release of the new trailer, The Dark Knight Rises plot speculation reached a fever pitch today, and spiked a months-old BC post about the possible origin of the character John Blake played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I?m sure there?s much more coming on this little mystery. Most-Read TV/Film Stories Today:

This weekend I ran a piece by Scott Edelman about the work of Sharon Moody, who paints, amongst other things, reproductions of comic books in mid-read, the pages being flipped over. Scott was incensed on a moral level that the likes of Jack Kirby and Sal Buscema weren?

DB Hughes writes conspiracy theories for Bleeding Cool The origin of the story dates back to an Adventures of Superman Annual I?m told was meant to be published in 1988.

Longtime DC artist Eduardo Barreto has passed away at the age of 57, with the cause believed to be related to the meningitis that forced him to stop penciling Judge Parker in 2010. The Uruguayan Barreto entered the American comic scene in the early 1980s, working primarily during this period for DC. Barreto?
