The denizens of Pine Valley signed off from network television Friday with ABC's final episode of All My Children. The Agnes Nixon-created show ran for 41 years and was notable for addressing social issues such as war, homosexuality, race, rape, incest and AIDS -- taboo subjects on other soaps.

Susan Lucci, Michael E. Knight, Debbie Morgan and David Canary are among the drama's longtime cast members who may or may not participate in the show when it moves online for a web series produced by Prospect Park.

2: Emmy wins for Darnell Williams for portraying Jesse Hubbard. One prize was for supporting actor and the other was for lead actor for the same character.
5: Number of Emmys won by David Canary for doing double duty as ruthless tycoon Adam Chandler and his simple-minded twin brother Stuart Chandler.
1: Primetime Emmy win for Mary Fickett. The actress won the prize in 1973 for an episode in which her character expressed her misgivings about the Vietnam War. Fickett died Sept. 8 of Alzheimer's.
