Right after news circulating on Cecilia Cheung and Nicholas Tse?s marital woes died down, a new Hong Kong magazine ran a huge headline on its cover which reads: ?Edison?s good friend releases a video on Cecilia getting abused? yesterday.
The magazine also displayed photos of Cecilia being sexually abused, and emphasized that the video was shot after Edison?s sex photo scandal in 2008.
The photos were allegely exposed by Edison?s buddy Vernie Yeung, who is the director of the film clips loosely translated as Paparazzi Prisoners of War. The photos were said to be retrieved from the 39-second-long film clip, which was shot in 2009, a year after Edison?s sex photo scandal were exposed.
In the photos, Cecilia?s hair was tousled and messy with her cheeks tear-stained by black streaks of mascara. From her ferocious expression, it looks as if she was ?sexually abused?. Cecilia was tied up and gagged with a red ball in her mouth and she repeatedly screamed when facing the camera.
In response to that, Vernie expressed through his management company, claiming that the creepy sadomasochistic film is actually an experimental work called Captive, created by him five years ago. He explained that the concept of the video was supposed to depict the pressure and pain that the paparazzi inflicted on celebrities.
Apart from Paparazzi Prisoners of War, there are also other film clips associated with Captive, featuring singer-actress Josie Ho and actor Sam Lee.
At the same time, his artiste management company also flared up at the magazine?s action of ?simply using a film clip to mislead the public?, and declared the the magazine?s action as ?despicable?, ?low standard?, and ?silly?.Responding to the report, an official statement was put up on Cecilia?s official microblog: ?[They were] making up facts, [their) behaviour is despicable! Cecilia was just helping Vernie Yeung to shoot a short film, but ended up being publicly humiliated by the magazine!?
