David Beckham has agreed to join Paris St Germain and will move to the French capital in January.

Now that his contract with the LA Galaxy has all but lapsed, David Beckham will likely be headed to the French capital to play for Paris St. Germain.

According to the Parisien newspaper, ?Its done! After four months of negotiation, the capital's club has just received an agreement in principal from David Beckham for the signature of a contract of one-and-a-half years. He will sign the document next January.?

Becks will garner 4.5 million Euros over the course of his contract, breaking down to 800,000 per month. And that?s not including what will surely be a lucrative endorsement and merchandising deal.

As for the reasoning behind the move, a source close to the Beckhams told press, ?David may be coming towards the end of his career but he is still so dedicated to the game and he's desperate to go out on a high.?

However, Becks? management is still tight-lipped officially. ?No agreement with any football club has been reached. Any talk of a deal is premature. David is considering his options.?
