Those very qualities inspired brothers Neal and Lance Brown to re-create that exhilarating moment in a children?s book they call, ?The Answered Prayer.?
?Yeah I mean just reading stories to my kid at night, and I got sick of reading about animals. So I started re-creating sports stories that I remembered from a kid and he loved it. It didn?t take long before every night he was requesting a football story or a baseball story,? said Neal.
After what happened at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, BYU fans are going to need a bed-time story of the good-ol-days to help them fall asleep at night.
?So yeah we?ve got the printed book which is great. It?s got big, beautiful illustrations and it?s got the sound bite of the greg wrubell play call which never gets old. And so , people like that but we?re really excited about the interactive app. We wanted to do something that brought the stadium experience home or to the palm of your hand,? said Lance.
All this makes it possible for kids to experience the BYU cheers, play calls, and even the haka without ever having to buy a ticket to the game.
