Will Nargis Fakhri end Katrina Kaif's glorious reign as Bollywood's top foreign import? Right now, that question seems to be a matter of national debate. The 31-year-old half-Czech, half-Pakistani former model makes her debut opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar - probably the most hyped film of 2011. Nargis has already created ample headlines with gossip linking her to Ranbir. The buzz about her has been so strong that director Ali, fearing a burn- out, has asked her to avoid media glare till the film's release.
Quick check: New York-bred Nargis was a professional model who entered showbiz in India posing for the 2009 Kingfisher calendar. Before that, she featured on America's Next Top Model Season 2 in 2004.
