Submit this storydigg reddit stumble Since the cancellation of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," the one-time queen of daytime has vowed that she will get out of the studio and meet and talk with people out in the world. So she sat down with first-time Oscar nominee Jonah Hill at a restaurant, where they shared a casual meal and he shared his feelings about his nomination for his work in "Moneyball."

Hill, a comedic actor, certainly never expected his name to ever be anywhere near the Academy Awards, but he said it became more an more impossible to refuse to think about it. "Then it starts to happen," he said. "Like the SAG Awards get announced, and then the Golden Globes get announced and then you start to really go like, Okay."

He said that first and foremost, getting an award is not the reason that an actor takes on a role, nor is it an inspiration for how they manage their performance. And then there's just the emotional roller coast an actor can put themselves through thinking about the highest honor the industry can bestow upon him or her.

"You don't really think about it, because you don't want to get your head in that space of being disappointed or happy if it does or doesn't work out," he said. For now, he was all smiles as he paid for Oprah Winfrey's meal. He even went so far as to declare that experience "most exciting moment of my life."

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.

"The Voice" (8 p.m. EST on NBC) After the complete waste of time and talent that comprised "American Idol's" Hollywood episodes last week, I find myself wishing that NBC's rival competition was the show that had two airings a week instead. It's part three of "The Voice's" blind auditions, in which mentors Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton must continue building their teams based purely on the vocal ability of the hopefuls. (In short, it's a breath of fresh air amongst the tedious talent contest scene.) I also insist that you watch "Smash" immediately after, because if it gets cancelled, my faith in humanity will be forever shattered.

I'm going to make an outrageous Oscars prediction, and it has nothing to do with the winners. When the 89th annual Academy Awards air, the most coveted viewership demographic will be watching anything but the Hollywood awards show.

I saw a lot of really good movies this year, and I see no reason not to celebrate as many of them as I can get away with. So now, in alphabetical order, the 10 'runner-ups' of the year.

The concept of Moneyball in its simplest form is the following: quantitative statistical analysis can more precisely indicate a player's future performance than previous evaluation models.
